Job summary

A leading surveying company is seeking an experienced Traveling Party Chief to lead survey crews on utility and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency with Trimble GPS and total stations, and the ability to maintain safety and efficiency on job sites. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in surveying, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel extensively and work away from home. Qualifications

• 3+ years of surveying experience, preferably leading a crew.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage survey crews in daily field operations.
• Operate Trimble GPS, total stations, and data collectors for survey data collection.
• Use Radiodetection pipe locators to locate underground utilities.
• Maintain accurate field notes and survey data.
• Travel to project sites and work out of town for extended durations.
