Job summary

PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant in Round Rock, TX to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will assist with clinical duties, radiographs, charting, and patient education in a fast-paced dental setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile operatories, coordinating with the front desk, and ensuring compliance with state guidelines while traveling between offices as needed. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with state-mandated certification/licensure.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Willingness to travel to multiple offices; reliable transportation essential.
• Experience with dental radiographs and charting is preferred.
• Ability to interact with clinicians and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to deliver PPE and maintain patient comfort.
• Escort patients to/from front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to ensure smooth orthodontic scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and infection control standards.
• Prepare radiographs and intra-oral photos efficiently.
• Prepare trays and maintain supplies for procedures.
• Record patient charts and clinician notes in the digital system.
• Support treatment records and consents presentation to clinicians.
