Job summary

PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and ensure the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile environment across multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities include radiographs, charting, supply management, and collaboration with front office and lead assistants to ensure smooth orthodontic and dental workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-mandated training for certification/licensure.
• May require specialty travel; valid driver’s license and car insurance; background check.
• One-year certificate or equivalent may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient, quality dental care.
• Assist clinicians with chairside care and patient comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory; maintain infection control standards.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photographs as directed.
• Maintain supplies and instrument readiness in each operatory.
• Record patient charts and clinician notes in the digital records system.
• Support PPE processes to ensure a Perfect Patient Experience.
