Job summary

PDS Health in Austin, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and ensure the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE). You will prepare patients, assist dentists, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training for certification/licensure.
• Specialty Dental Assistants require a valid driver’s license and car insurance, with travel to multiple offices as needed.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per the state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Actively participate in PPE and keep patients focused on optimal treatment.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to ensure the Orthodontists schedule runs smoothly.
