Job summary

PDS Health seeks a Dental Assistant for Pflugerville Modern Dentistry & Orthodontics to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory to ensure quality care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with state-mandated certification. Occasional travel to multiple offices may be needed; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus state-mandated certification/licensure.
• One-year certificate from accredited college/technical school preferred.
• Specialty dental assistants travel to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians and prepare patients for examination.
• Maintain sterile operatory and disinfect instruments.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front office for scheduling.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral images as directed.
• Demonstrate PPE and Perfect Patient Experience practices.
