Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager for a major structural steel fabricator.

This role represents the fabricator on large site projects across the United States, coordinating with erectors and GCs, and ensuring deliveries, sequencing, and field fixes are handled smoothly. The position emphasizes site-based fabrication representation, not direct manpower management, with extensive travel in Central and Eastern time zones for projects typically 16–24 weeks long.

Qualifications

• Strong structural steel erection/field background.
• Superintendent, General Foreman or similar field leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of structural steel installation.

Responsibilities

• Represent the fabricator on major project sites.
• Coordinate with third-party steel erectors and GCs.
• Manage steel deliveries and erection sequencing.
• Investigate fabrication, erection, design and field issues.
• Read drawings and coordinate field fixes.
• Attend daily site meetings.
• Communicate issues back to Project Managers and fabrication teams.
• Identify problems early and keep erection moving.
