Job summary

Sonic Systems International seeks a Reactor Vessel Technician to perform staging, disassembly and re-assembly of reactor components in a nuclear power plant. The role requires travel to sites across the US and international clients, working in high radiation environments with full PPE.

Successful candidates will meet strict safety and training requirements and work as part of a technical team. This seasonal position demands physical endurance and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background with no outstanding or pending legal charges.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and random.
• Valid Driver's License with no pending charges.
• Non-US Citizen must hold current work visa or green card.
• Knowledge of operating a computer.

Responsibilities

• Staging, disassembly and re-assembly of major reactor components.
• Work in congested, high radiation areas with radiation and environmental PPE.
• Travel to nuclear power plants; 100% travel; perform maintenance at sites.
• Report to Lead Vessel Technician or Refuel Floor Engineer; follow written procedures.
