Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Traveling Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems. The role requires travel throughout the state to customer sites, strong knowledge of NFPA codes, and reliable documentation of inspections.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 2+ years of inspection experience, and a valid driver’s license, with NICET certification a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NFPA codes (10, 25, 72) and inspection processes.
• Requires license to perform sprinkler/fire pump/alarms inspections.
• NICET certification is a plus and may be required.
• Ability to travel within state; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA 25 inspections on water-based fire systems.
• Perform NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems.
• Perform NFPA 10 inspections on extinguishers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site.
• Submit inspection reports and tickets promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and manage time.
• Upsell company capabilities to customers.
