Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Renovation Superintendent in Indianapolis, IN to oversee construction, renovation, and capital improvements across multifamily assets. The role requires travel to active projects and coordinating timelines, vendors, and materials to meet budget and quality goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in renovation management, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and safety for occupied properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in new construction, renovation management and/or capital improvement projects.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Frequent travel across portfolio locations is required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities and coordinate schedules.
• Oversee subcontractor relationships and cost control.
• Schedule unit walks, bids, and inspections.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain site documentation.
• Travel to active project sites as needed.
