Job summary

Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. seeks a Traveling Millwright/Field Service Tech based in West Allis, WI, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery at client sites across the United States.

You will travel to diverse industrial environments, diagnose mechanical issues from schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with clients to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; millwright apprenticeship or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a millwright or field service technician in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in various industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations across the United States to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and troubleshoot equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to communicate status updates, recommend improvements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records, document repairs and parts used, and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
