Layton Construction Company is seeking an experienced Traveling MEP Superintendent to oversee critical data center projects across the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of field experience with supervisory responsibility. Key responsibilities include project scheduling, quality control, and ensuring safety standards on site. Qualifications
5+ years of field experience.
Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate project status reports.
Responsible for field coordination, quality control and supervision of subcontracted work.
Regularly reviews project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives.
Ensures safety standards are implemented and adhered to.
Directly manages sub-contractor activities within construction projects.
Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
Implements and enforces policies and procedures established by management.
Prepares reports and forecasts about project activities.
Coordinates Lock-out Tag-out with subcontractors.
Manages QA/QC and understands client engineering specifications.
