Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an MEP Superintendent to oversee all MEP activities on large-scale data center projects in Chicago. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance while coordinating subcontractors and driving project delivery.

With 5–10 years of MEP supervision experience (3+ years on data center projects) you will lead field operations, manage systems installations, and liaise with commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• A current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in MEP supervision, with at least 3 years on data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; commissioning experience.
• Experience with testing and integrated systems; proficiency with MS Office and CM software.
• Excellent leadership and strong communication skills; OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MEP field operations for data center projects.
• Coordinate installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with design specs, codes, and safety standards.
• Manage subcontractor performance and resolve field issues.
• Monitor project schedule and report progress to project management.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for MEP systems.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure system functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of field activities and testing.
• Lead daily coordination meetings with trade partners.
