St. John’s Community Health is hiring a Medical Assistant Floater to support back-office and clinical tasks at multiple Compton clinics. The role involves specimen collection, routine lab work, charting, and admin duties under physician supervision.

Must have two years of experience, CCMA certification, and bilingual English/Spanish. Travel between clinics is required; proficiency with EHR and MS Office is preferred. Excellent patient care in underserved communities is valued.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification.
• Two years related experience in medical support roles.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
• Strong charting and documentation skills are required.
• Experience working with underserved communities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with collecting specimens and performing routine lab tasks.
• Provide administrative support: scheduling, records, billing, and coding.
• Take and record vital signs and medical histories; prepare patients for exams.
• Draw blood and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Assist providers with examinations and treatment as needed.
• Travel to different clinic locations as requested by the Director of Operations or Clinic Manager.
