Job summary

Entech Network Solutions, LLC. seeks a Traveling Mechanical Project Manager to lead a major confidential construction project in Kentucky. The role is permanent, full-time with travel, and the initial assignment lasts about six months.

You will manage mechanical scope from preconstruction through commissioning, coordinate sched., budget, and field teams, and maintain cost projections and client communication.

Qualifications

• PM experience with mechanical contracting and field execution.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and field delivery.
• Experience managing large commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with piping, HVAC, central-plant systems is desirable.
• Budgeting, cost forecasting, and schedule management demonstrated.
• Experience handling RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders and client communication.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades, field teams and suppliers.
• Leadership, organization and effective communication in a fast-paced project.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction scope from preconstruction to closeout.
• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting and day-to-day execution.
• Monitor labor productivity, costs and profitability.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, engineers and field staff.
• Develop manpower, equipment, procurement and material-delivery plans.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and major equipment suppliers.
• Review drawings, P&IDs and project documentation.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders and POs.
• Identify scope changes and price/negotiation of changes.
• Maintain cost projections, schedules and progress reports.
• Lead project meetings with contractors, client and leadership.
• Resolve field conflicts and schedule constraints.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule and financial expectations.
• Support startup, testing, turnover and closeout.
• Transition to future traveling assignments after Louisville project.
