Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Travelling Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical scope on construction projects across multiple sites. The role requires coordinating teams, managing budgets, and ensuring safety and quality while traveling to project locations.

You will use Primavera P6, review drawings, mitigate risks, report progress, and mentor field staff. A Bachelor's in mechanical or construction field and PMP/NEBOSH are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven PM experience managing mechanical scopes on construction projects with site exposure.
• Strong knowledge of piping and HVAC installations.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and change orders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work on-site.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Certifications such as PMP or NEBOSH are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical project activities across multiple sites, including planning and resourcing.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Control budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for mechanical work.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; lead safety briefings.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Review drawings and resolve constructability issues with engineering teams.
• Provide regular progress reporting and documentation.
• Mentor field teams to maintain productivity and workmanship.
