Diamond Peak Recruiting client, a reputable mechanical construction firm, seeks a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to support large-scale national projects. Willingness to relocate to project sites as needed is required, with relocation per diems provided.

Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors and field teams, plus reviewing drawings and RFIs to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical construction on large projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and piping systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites nationwide.
• Competitive base salary based on experience.
• Monthly per diem provided for travel and relocation expenses.

Responsabilités

• Support Project Managers in overseeing mechanical scopes (HVAC, plumbing, piping).
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and procurement coordination.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field teams to meet goals.
• Review drawings, submittals, and RFIs to maintain design and construction quality.
• Track progress, update documentation, and resolve technical or field issues.
• Uphold company safety, quality, and performance standards.
