Job summary

Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support interior and exterior maintenance across HACSB properties. You will perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

The role requires travel throughout San Bernardino County and on-call availability 24/7 for emergencies. A high school diploma and 3+ years of building maintenance experience are needed; relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; three+ years of building maintenance experience.
• A/C, Electrical and Gas Certification preferred.
• UPCS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry and appliance repairs.
• Complete unit turns and vacancy repairs across San Bernardino County properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems; service HVAC and appliances as needed.
