Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is hiring a Locator Technician based in Charlotte, NC, traveling across North Carolina and South Carolina. This is a full-time, permanent position with growth opportunities in a nationwide gas and electric utilities support team.

You will locate and mark utilities, document findings, and maintain daily reports while ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel across NC/SC.
• Prior field/locator experience preferred.
• DOT drug screen compliance required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all field locate & mark activities adhere to the company specifications and standards.
• Responsible for the ongoing compliance of all line locate & mark procedures and providing the best possible field assurance services to the client’s operations.
• Maintain well documented Daily Progress Reports (DPRs)
• Utilize maps and blueprints to identify and mark the location of utilities such as gas and electric lines if applicable.
• Document interactions, site information and utilities in organizational software.
• Communicate with customers and internal leadership.
• Use a variety of techniques including electronic, magnetic, blueprint analysis, and/or radar to locate utilities.
• Provide daily and weekly production data reports.
• Post informational door tags/letters notifying residents of our inspection procedures,
• Maintain a professional relationship with client and their contractors other team members, and consistently deliver excellent client work.
