Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Locator Technician based in Charlotte, NC, with travel across North Carolina and South Carolina. This full-time position supports our gas utility team and requires reliable field experience, a valid driver's license, and DOT drug screening compliance.

You will document field activities, use maps/blueprints to locate utilities, and report progress daily while interacting with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel.
• Prior field/locator experience preferred.
• Must pass DOT drug screen and future random DOT screens.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field locate and mark activities meet specs and standards.
• Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
• Use maps and blueprints to locate utilities such as gas and electric lines.
• Document interactions and utilities in organizational software.
• Communicate with customers and internal leadership.
• Use techniques to locate utilities and provide data reports.
• Post information door tags/letters notifying residents of inspection procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.
