Job summary

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Training Coordinator to organize, schedule, facilitate, and deliver staff training across direct care and support roles. The role requires interpreting state regulations, maintaining training databases, and providing ongoing technical assistance with Relias.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, updating content with regulatory changes, and serving as instructor for CPR, First Aid, and PMAB.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; four-year college preferred in organizational development, education, or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching, staff training, and development of training programs/curricula.
• Strong public speaking skills are required.
• Must complete CPR/First Aid and PMAB instructor certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate new employee orientation, annual refresher, ongoing, and specialized training.
• Schedule and coordinate all training, publish/update schedules.
• Assess coursework effectiveness and inform instructors for improvements.
• Implement the Center training curriculum and coordinate state-mandated regulations.
• Update training content for changes in state regulations and Center policies.
• Collaborate with program SMEs to design and develop effective learning curricula.
• Serve as instructor for CPR, First Aid, and PMAB courses.
• Provide ongoing support with Relias for all staff.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality per policies.
