Job summary

Network of Minnesota Dental Providers PC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures, and help manage radiographs and charting across multiple offices.

Travel between offices is required and uniform standards are expected. A high school diploma or GED and state-specific certification are required, with a valid driver’s license and transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by applicable state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Specialty Dental Assistants are required to travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.
• In lieu of a valid driver’s license, alternate transportation may be required for timely travel.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per the state Table of Permitted Duties.
• Actively participate in PPE and assist in keeping patients focused on treatment.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Communicate with front and back office to ensure smooth orthodontist schedules.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist for efficient care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies in each operatory.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
