PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians through the Perfect Patient Experience and help build a Patients for Life program. You will assist with patient care, sterilization, radiographs, and charting while maintaining a clean clinical environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state-mandated training, and reliable transportation for travel between offices. A one-year certificate is preferred and beneficial for advancement.

Formación

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and mandated state training courses.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations as mandated by state.
• Specialty dental assistants must travel to multiple offices and have reliable transportation.
• Driver's license and automobile insurance required; or alternate transportation.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and is subject to change without notice.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state's Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Actively participate in PPE and help patients feel comfortable and informed.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Communicate with front and back office teams to ensure schedule runs smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist for efficient care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies in each operatory.
