Qualifications

• 2+ years laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in 2 different areas of the lab.
• 1 year experience with infant collections.
• High school graduate or equivalent; certification preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and communicate critical information to the healthcare team.
• Process and handle specimens for testing in multiple laboratory areas.
• May be required to obtain blood specimens by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques for laboratory analysis.
• Travel to ambulatory sites as needed.
