The Sicilian Baker in Arizona is seeking a Junior Pastry Chef to support pastry production across multiple bakery locations. You will work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to ensure high-quality pastry preparation, assist in training and mentoring pastry staff, and maintain consistency in recipes and execution.

This role requires travel between three locations in Arizona, ensuring seamless bakery operations, quality control, and training across all sites.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in pastry or baking in a high-volume setting.
• Strong baking techniques, dough handling, and dessert decoration.
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between three Arizona locations.
• Food safety knowledge and kitchen hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Pastry Chef in daily pastry production across multiple locations.
• Prepare and bake Italian pastries, desserts, and baked goods with consistency.
• Follow standardized recipes to maintain quality and presentation.
• Assist in decorating pastries and training bakery staff.
• Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting for pastry team.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and inventory; communicate needs.
• Travel between three Arizona locations to support production and training.
• Participate in menu development and testing of new pastry items.
