Job summary

The State of Colorado, Department of Human Services, Division of Facilities Management - South District, is seeking a skilled plumber to repair, install and maintain plumbing systems across CDHS facilities in the Southern District, including CMHHIP and Pueblo sites.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of full-time plumbing experience and hold a Colorado Journeyworker or Master Plumber license; willing to travel to assigned locations and work in essential, on-site roles with a

Qualifications

• Applicants must have at least three years of full-time plumbing experience and hold a Colorado Journeyworker or Master Plumber license.
• Must be able to travel to CDHS locations within the Southern District.
• Essential position with on-site work and ability to work varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plumbing equipment and systems including pumps, controls, water and sewer systems.
• Perform journeyman plumbing tasks such as unstopping commodes, sinks, replacing washers and fixtures.
• Repair or replace equipment or systems not operational or outdated to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Complete preventative maintenance checks, routine work orders, and assist with remodels or new construction as needed.
• Maintain Life Safety Systems, fire protection components and related systems; manage materials and paperwork for daily tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints; document work orders, receipts and inspections to support workflow.
