Job summary

State of Colorado is seeking a full-time Journeyman Plumber to repair, install, and maintain plumbing systems across the North District facilities. The role involves travel between sites, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting new construction or remodel projects as needed.

Applicants must hold a Colorado Journeyman or Master Plumber license and have at least three years of full-time plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time plumbing experience leading to the Colorado Plumbing license.
• Valid Journeyworker or Master Plumber license issued by the State of Colorado.
• Must possess and maintain a valid non-restricted Colorado driver’s license.
• Out-of-State Driver’s License holders must obtain a Colorado license within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must successfully pass a full background check and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and maintain plumbing systems across North District facilities.
• Troubleshoot pumps, temperature controls, and hot water systems; perform journeyman plumbing tasks.
• Repair or replace equipment and systems to ensure operation and efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance, manage work orders, and assist with new construction or remodel projects as needed.
• Read blueprints and document daily task sheets, materials, and reports.
