Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a Traveling Journeyman Electrician to support electrical construction across multiple locations, including Lexington, KY. The role involves independent work and potential leadership of a small crew, with opportunities to learn in low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm divisions.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction, own the required tools, and be capable of reading blueprints and project documents.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience performing electrical construction in commercial or industrial environments.
• Owns tools required by company policy and can use them to perform tasks.
• Demonstrates teamwork, safety, and ability to work with others on job sites.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using standard tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics to lay out work from drawings.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
