Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to learn other divisions of Amteck (low voltage, controls, fire alarm).
• Demonstrated team-player mentality; able to work with others and follow directions.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Must learn to read basic construction documents and task instructions.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuiting and project wiring layouts.
• Read project drawings and lay out work from electrical documents, including underground layouts.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
