Job summary

Knobelsdorff Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced electrician to support the Energy division on solar installation projects in Minnesota. You will execute photovoltaic electrical construction, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes working on state-of-the-art solar projects, adhering to electrical codes, and collaborating with foremen, PMs, and leadership to maintain high workmanship and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solar or electrical construction.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic (solar) systems and DC/AC configurations.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel extensively across Minnesota (overnight stays required).
• Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Purpose

This role supports the Energy division by providing licensed electrical work across solar installation projects in Minnesota. You’ll be responsible for executing and overseeing photovoltaic (solar) electrical construction that directly impacts project quality, safety, and timeline. Pay Range:$55 - $60 per hour plus $125 per diem, travel incentive opportunities, and overtime eligibility
