Job summary

Knobelsdorff in Minnesota seeks a licensed electrician to support the Energy division on solar installation projects. You will execute photovoltaic electrical construction, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while mentoring apprentices.

The role requires five-plus years in solar or electrical construction, Minnesota Journeyman license, and ability to travel across the state. You’ll interpret drawings, manage wiring, and collaborate with foremen to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License required.
• 5+ years of solar or electrical construction experience.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic (solar) systems and DC/AC configurations.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel extensively across Minnesota (overnight stays required).
• Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Description

Job Purpose

This role supports the Energy division by providing licensed electrical work across solar installation projects in Minnesota. You’ll be responsible for executing and overseeing photovoltaic (solar) electrical construction that directly impacts project quality, safety, and timeline. What You’ll Do

Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour plus $125 per diem, travel incentive opportunities, and overtime eligibility
