Job summary

Flint Group is seeking a Traveling Ink Technician to provide technical and operational support at multiple customer locations. This role blends ink management, color matching, and on-site troubleshooting to meet quality standards.

Travel up to 100% across North America, with potential Canada travel. Candidates should have printing/ink experience, flexographic exposure preferred, and fluency with color management software like X rite, Color Cert, or Autura.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing, ink blending, color matching, or related manufacturing environments.
• Flexographic printing experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with color management software such as X rite, Color Cert, or Autura.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical and operational support at customer locations.
• Operate ink dispensing equipment and software to maintain production, inventory, and batch records.
• Perform color matching and adjustments to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain quality control and safety standards.
• Build relationships with customers and Flint Group teams.
• Support new customer startups and special projects.
