Your Impact

Pearce is seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC package units on Renewable Energy Sites across the United States. This fast-paced and rewarding role is ideal for responsible, self-motivated individuals willing to travel and eager to grow in the Renewables industry. This position involves up to 100% travel, with residence on the East Coast preferred.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining commercial cooling package units on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components.
• Conducting performance checks and regular HVAC maintenance.
• Performing upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Responding promptly to service calls, including emergencies.
• Completing daily work reports accurately and timely.
• Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely, per company policies.

Core Experience

• Must be EPA Level 2 or Universal Certified.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC maintenance experience, preferably commercial.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical/Work Environment

• Reside on the East Coast; travel up to 100%, especially during summer.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend call outs.
• Ability to drive to remote sites.
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

Compensation

$35.00-$45.00 hourly, DOE, plus Per Diem. Employees are eligible for overtime, bonuses, stipends, company vehicle, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development.
