Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Traveling Foreman – HVAC/R to lead field crews across project locations, ensuring safe, high-quality installations in commercial and industrial settings. You will read drawings, coordinate with the Superintendent, and supervise Installers and Apprentices on daily tasks.

Responsibilities include organizing work, maintaining productivity, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specs while traveling frequently between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC/R construction experience preferred.
• Experience leading HVAC/R crews or lead Installer role.
• EPA certification required.
• Journeyman license or equivalent preferred.
• Texas ACR Registration or state/local licensing preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC/R field crews at commercial/industrial project sites.
• Organize daily work, assign priorities, and ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with Superintendent on manpower, materials, and schedules.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications for installations.
• Oversee installation, testing, and startup of HVAC/R systems.
• Maintain productivity and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional conduct on site.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to Apprentices and Installers.
• Escalate significant issues to the Superintendent promptly.
