Job summary

Carrier is seeking Traveling HVAC Data Center Chiller Technicians to support data center sites across the United States. The role involves long‑term rotational travel, startup and commissioning of new units, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance on various cooling systems.

You will interact with customers, adhere to safety standards, and leverage expertise in carriers/Trane/Daikin chillers. A Union‑friendly environment with travel time compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC industry experience.
• 3+ years on Centrifugal Chillers.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• OSHA 30 Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different Data Center Sites on long‑term rotation.
• Assist startup and commissioning of new units.
• Perform diagnostics and maintenance on heating/cooling units.
• Review regulatory requirements and technical diagrams.
• Cultivate customer relationships and escalate issues as needed.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to licensing and PPE requirements.
