Job summary

Carrier seeking a Traveling HVAC Data Center Chiller Technician to support data center sites across the United States. You will travel long durations to install, troubleshoot, and maintain centrifugal chillers, applying your HVAC expertise while leading field teams when needed.

This role operates on a 4 weeks traveling / 1 week off rotation, with paid travel time and a company vehicle provided. Strong safety focus, EPA certification, and the ability to lift 50lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry.
• 3+ years working on Centrifugal Chillers.
• Push/Pull/Lift up to 50 lbs.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods and climb ladders.
• Possess and maintain valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different Data Center Sites on a long-term rotational schedule.
• Participate in startup and commissioning of new units and support facilities.
• Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain heating and cooling units.
• Review regulatory requirements and technical documents including blueprints.
• Build strong customer relationships and escalate issues as needed.
• Prioritize safety and complete required safety training.
