Job summary

AIR Control Concepts is seeking a Traveling Chiller Technician to support customers across the United States. This role involves servicing large-tonnage chiller systems with extensive travel required. Technicians will work with leading manufacturers' equipment, conducting service and maintenance while ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
• Proven experience with chillers from leading manufacturers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on chiller systems.
• Conduct start-ups and performance checks of chiller systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.

Skills

Experience with chillers (centrifugal, screw, or scroll)

Troubleshooting complex mechanical and controls issues

Understanding of refrigeration cycles and electrical systems

Ability to travel

Education

EPA Universal Certification

Tools

Building Automation Systems (BAS / BMS)

VFDs and controls systems
