Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings, Inc. in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator for transmission, distribution, substations, and foundations.

You will perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response while supporting operations with HSE program compliance. You will travel across the United States, lead trainings and new-hire orientations, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a safety role.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Overhead distribution and transmission experience, underground power, vertical foundations, and substation experience preferred.
• Certification credentials (BCSP and/or CUSP) desired.
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States.
• 30 days on / 10 days off rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of existing HSE programs.
• Conduct meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations.
• Travel to projects across the United States.
