MBC Talent Connections is hiring a Housing Safety and Compliance Inspector in Pittsburgh, PA, with travel across western Pennsylvania. This full-time, hourly position focuses on ensuring residential communities meet safety, sanitation, accessibility, and compliance standards.

You will inspect apartments, document deficiencies with notes and photos, apply HUD NSPIRE standards, and coordinate with property teams to ensure timely corrections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel throughout western Pennsylvania.
• Observant, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong documentation skills and professional communication.

Responsabilités

• Inspect apartment units, common areas, and building exteriors across multiple communities.
• Document housing deficiencies with accurate notes and photos.
• Apply HUD NSPIRE and other applicable housing standards during inspections.
• Communicate findings to property management and maintenance teams; follow up on corrections.
• Maintain organized inspection schedules and records.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with residents, housing partners, and colleagues.
