Job summary

Talently is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for hotel renovations with nationwide travel. Lead field operations at active hotel sites, supervise subcontractors, ensure schedules, safety, and quality align with brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a superintendent in commercial construction, strong coordination skills, and willingness to travel up to 100% across the United States. Procore and MS Office experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States, up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on hotel renovation projects nationwide.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and help control costs in partnership with project managers.
• Run daily site meetings and prepare reports documenting progress, staffing, safety, and project issues.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements, and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with plans, specifications, and hotel brand standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals; resolve field issues and coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate punch lists, closeout, owner training, and warranty documentation while minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
