Job summary

Talently is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead on-site hotel renovation work across the United States. You’ll coordinate with hotel teams and brand representatives while maintaining safety, quality, and minimal disruption to guests.

Responsibilities include managing field operations, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring schedules and inspections align with plans and brand standards. This role requires extensive travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide, up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations for hotel renovation projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, and address issues promptly.
• Lead site meetings and communicate updates to project managers and hotel stakeholders.
• Enforce OSHA requirements and safety policies on site.
• Inspect work for compliance with plans, specs, quality and brand standards.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs and submittals; coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Prepare daily reports and support punch lists, turnover and closeout.
