Job summary

Compassus is seeking Traveling Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality home health and hospice care across assigned programs. You will perform routine and emergency assessments, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate care with the hospice/home health team to ensure comfort and outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree, a willingness to travel extensively, and flexibility to cover nights and weekends as needed. Prior home health or hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year of nursing practice or equivalent experience preferred.
• Home Health, hospice, oncology, and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travels to the assigned program based on need for 8–13 week assignments.
• Admits patients and performs routine and emergency assessments.
• May act as preceptor to onboard and train new team members.
• Meets productivity standards and is available for visits during the regular work day.
• Coordinates clinical care across disciplines as indicated by the Plan of Care.
