Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Traveling Registered Nurse to support home health and hospice programs across multiple locations. The role involves routine and emergency assessments, patient education for patients and caregivers, and care coordination to meet patient and family needs.

Assignments vary from 8–13 weeks with some work in the home program as needed. The RN will uphold Compassus values, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Hospice IDT and treating physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing practice preferred.
• Home health, hospice, oncology, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned programs based on need for 8–13 weeks per assignment.
• Admit patients and perform routine and emergency assessments.
• May precept and onboard new team members.
• Meet productivity standards and be available for visits in the work day.
• Coordinate care with PT/OT/MSW/HHA and Case Management.
