Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Heavy Equipment Fuel Lube Technician to join our field team. You will service a diverse fleet, perform fueling, greasing, and routine maintenance on equipment at multiple job sites.

The role requires travel, adherence to DOT rules, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and a Class B CDL with tanker/HAZMAT endorsements or willingness to obtain them. Competitive pay, benefits, and per diem are offered.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety practices and procedures.
• Fuel/greasing equipment per manuals.
• Use a computer (Windows, Outlook).
• Operate vehicles and equipment.
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• Work outdoors in varied weather and hours.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Shift work including weekends; overtime may occur.
• Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements or willingness to obtain and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and carry out a fuel route, greasing and topping off fluids.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.
• Wet line fueling equipment experience.
• Travel to multiple job sites.
• Comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
