Role Summary

The General Superintendent will develop and execute the project plan and oversee all aspects of assigned projects with significant complexity. This role involves managing the team, planning construction sequencing, and meeting project goals, all aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

This position requires travel and full-time on-site presence for projects across the United States.

Key Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety initiatives to promote an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Oversee safety, quality, and EEO programs.
• Develop work plans and coordinate project site activities.
• Lead meetings and participate in project review sessions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Support project closeouts and participate in project pursuit processes.
• Recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects from planning to completion.
• Provide oversight to multiple projects and teams.
• Lead strategic initiatives and internal training development.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management, and scheduling software.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, trades, and labor productivity.
• Ability to build relationships and manage budgets effectively.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 12+ years construction experience, with 10+ years in field supervision.
