Job summary

Midland Rape Crisis and Children’s Advocacy Center in Midland, TX is seeking a Forensic Interviewer to conduct forensic interviews with victims and witnesses, traveling between MRCCAC offices in Midland, Andrews, and Big Spring.

Under supervision, you will document case information, testify when required, participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, and provide training to staff and partners; a bachelor's or associate degree in related fields or 1 year human services experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in social work, psychology, or criminal justice related to the mission.
• Experience substituting with at least 1 year in human services, child welfare, or related fields.
• Ability to conduct forensic interviews with children or adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic interviews with victims or witnesses under protocol.
• Travel between Midland, Andrews, and Big Spring offices.
• Collaborate with investigators, caregivers, and community partners.
• Document case information and support follow-up recommendations.
• Testify in court when subpoenaed and participate in trainings.
