Job summary

Rentokil is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering friendly, customer-focused service. You will assess compliance, train staff, and collaborate with clients to drive food safety improvements.

Travel 50-70% and occasional evenings/weekends are required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this autonomous role.

Qualifications

• Meet requirements to obtain CP-FS certification.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and some evenings as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from resident state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure regulatory and brand standards.
• Observe food prep and cooking to verify health and sanitation practices.
• Travel 50-70% (8-10 days per month), including some evenings/weekends.
• Train and educate staff on food safety and corrective actions.
