Job summary

MULTIVAC is seeking Traveling Field Technicians to install, troubleshoot and repair advanced packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities nationwide. The role requires substantial travel, including overnight stays, with flexible scheduling and weekend work as needed.

You will train customers on safe operation, document service activities within 24 hours, and collaborate with a seasoned service team in a high-demand environment. A strong mechanical/electrical background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation and repair of complex packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic system knowledge.
• Ability to train customers on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot or install complex, customized packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities; repair to specifications quickly and efficiently.
• Conduct training for customers on safe operations and parts ordering; ensure comfort with procedures.
• Complete service documentation of repairs and submit trip expenses within 24 hours; maintain timely expense reports and time sheets.
