Job summary

The Field Service technician at MCC will provide on-site installation, service, and training on pressure sensitive, heat transfer label and sleeving equipment at customer facilities, with a strong emphasis on traveling to external client sites.

Based in Blue Ash, OH, you will split time between shop work and 75% travel, including overnight trips to other states; evenings and weekends may be required to meet customer needs, with some international travel possible.

Qualifications

• Desirable: 2 years technical school and/or 5 years servicing automated equipment.
• Understanding of prime label application techniques and high-speed labeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, service, technical assistance, repair, and training on labeling equipment at Customer’s facilities
• Conduct and support demonstration of machines.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Read, understand, and update engineering drawings and schematics used in the equipment assembly.
• When not performing field service, assist production with assembling labeling equipment and related systems.
• Maintain, clean and organize production facilities and systems.
• Support application issues of customers using MCC labels.
• Other projects as assigned by manager.
