Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel across the USA, performing mechanical and electrical tasks on power equipment.

You will install, maintain and repair equipment following defined procedures and industry standards while promoting the company’s capabilities for future opportunities. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, with basic tool skills and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Manufacturing or Industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and or repair of electrical equipment following defined procedures and industry standards.
• Receive assignments and instructions from lead and manager - both verbal and written.
• Read, understand, and follow guidelines set forth by Company procedures and blueprints when performing assigned work.
• Select proper materials and parts for assembly operations.
• Setup and layout materials and tools for all assembly operations.
• Maintain the required clearances and dimensions for the voltage classifications specified.
• Support Field Service Technician with: Transformer Assembly, Electrical Testing, Controls, LTC's, Oil Processing
