Job summary

PeopleReady of Largo, FL is hiring Traveling Field Service Technicians to install, service and troubleshoot automated industrial equipment at customer sites. The role requires domestic and international travel roughly two weeks per month, with a daily per diem provided during travel.

You will repair machines, perform maintenance, and support customers while reading schematics and working with PLCs, HMIs and automation systems. Shift availability is flexible and per diems apply.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, controls, or automation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine repairs, adjustments, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships.
• Install and commission automated filling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues.

Traveling Field Service Technician

PeopleReady of Largo, FL is now hiring Traveling Field Service Technicians in Oldsmar, FL! We are seeking experienced Field Service Control Technicians to install, service, and troubleshoot automated industrial equipment at customer locations. This position requires domestic and international travel approximately two weeks per month, with a daily per diem provided during work-related travel.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $26 - $29 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Traveling Field Service Technician:

• Perform machine repairs, adjustments, upgrades, and preventive maintenance

• Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships

• Install and commission automated filling equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues

• Diagnose PLC, HMI, sensor, drive, and automation problems

• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience servicing industrial machinery or automated equipment

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, controls, or automation systems preferred

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• 5+ years of industrial equipment service experience

• Experience with OEM machinery, packaging equipment, robotics, or automation

• Valid driver's license

• Background check and drug test required
